Alison Victoria of Kitchen Crashers

Alison Victoria will tell all you weekend warriors how to create harmony in your kitchens during A Happy Home is a Healthy Home. She will provide tips on giving your space a facelift and making your kitchen a happy place. Space planning, lighting and organization are important elements in a happy kitchen.

Don Drumm, Art in the Home

In 1960 Don Drumm opened his own studio, as a full time practicing sculptor and designer/craftsman near the University of Akron. In 1971, he expanded the studio to incorporate a one-room gallery. Since then the enterprise has grown extensively and now embraces eight buildings, providing gallery facilities for over 500 artists and studio space for three resident artists.

Dante Boccuzzi

DanteDante has worked for some of the biggest names in the industry. He served as Executive Chef for the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in San Francisco and as the private chef for Robert De Niro. He worked as Executive Chef for Charlie Palmer at his New York flagship, Aureole. He has already earned his own Michelin Star. Dante’s latest venture is right here in Akron where he brings the culmination of style and expression together at dba.

Outback Ray

Through his Amazing Animal Show, Outback Ray uses his show to share his knowledge and passion for exotic animals with his audience. He captivates young and old alike with his unique “family” show, all while sharing fascinating facts about each animal.
Friday at 5:00 pm, Saturday at 12:00 pm and Sunday at 11:30 am on the Carter Lumber Main Stage

 

Star Wars Photos Saturday from 1-4pm

Bring the kids and your camera and get ready to smile. Pose with your favorite Star Wars characters on the first floor Carter Lumber Small Stage.

Ohio Star Wars Costuming group believes truly engaging Star Wars experience only occurs through a convincing appearance. The group constantly strives to improve the quality and accuracy of its member’s costumes. Their goal is to appear as if their characters have just stopped off the big screen.

Jerry Risner, Executive Chef, Gervasi Vineyard
Andrew Codispoti, Head Winemaker, Gervasi Vineyard

Chef Risner loves cooking and the excitement and camaraderie of the kitchen. His passion for cooking began when he was young, watching his grandmother as she prepared memorable homemade meals for family and friends. Andy traces his passion for wine to his youth in a mountainside village in Calabria, Italy. The family owned several small vineyards in the region. Andy joined the Gervasi team in early 2009 to unite old world art and new world technology in the development of Gervasi’s wine portfolio. The team presents Fine Wines for Fine Food.

Alois Maierhofer is Executive Chef for Green Market District. He was born in Austria and has culinary experiences from all over the world, thanks to his experience on Celebrity Cruise Line. He hosted a show on the Food Network and owned Mozart’s Restaurant prior to his current position. His diverse culinary background and innovative thinking was a perfect synchronization with Giant Eagle’s / Market District’s contemporary vision of prepared foods and “kitchens to go” concept.
